Mum was contacted yesterday by a distressed lady who is very worried about the safety and well being of two collies advertised on the awful preloved site. She would love to help these two dogs but the owner has refused to let them go to rescue despite the fact they are advertised 'free to a good home'. The only way she can help is if there is somewhere local they can go in the first instance while we find them a permanent foster placement. There are ways to get these two dogs out of their awful situation but we need somewhere to put them. So do we have anyone in Stoke on Trent who would be in a position to take 2 rescued collies for short term foster (a week to 10 days maybe) while we find them somewhere permanent to be fostered. Sorry if you have already seen this on the other blog but we felt it was worth repeating. We are going to see Aunty Su, Uncle Marc and Poppy later they are coming to stay for a while. We haven't seen Poppy for a little while so it will be great fun! Mum is going to do some training with her while she's here :)

Mum had a great time in London but has come back with a terrible cold and hacking cough! We are trying to make her relax and take things easy but she even managed to co ordinate a collie rescue whilst she was away!

We really missed her but Dad spoiled us with lots of chews and bones so it wasn't too bad. The good news is that little orphan Annie has now got a lovely new home with a very kind lady who will love her and take good care of her. Meg is still looking and so is Tip.

Also looking for homes (although not via Border Collies In Need) are two Lab x girls both easy going and laid back, aged around 5 years. Also two Staff x Collies. Please get in touch if you think you might be able to help any of them and Mum will pass you onto the people concerned.

Mum is such a soft touch, she has offered to take some kittens from one of our animal rescuer friends. They are coming to stay for a little while before being re homed. Wonder what Mab cat will think about that!!!

Mum has been trying to rescue dogs from the free ads all week, the situation is getting really really bad. Please people don't give your pets away for free, they are worth so much more of your care and respect. If you can't keep them take them to a rescue who will look after them, find them good homes, do checks to make sure they will be okay and if anything goes wrong will take back your pet until a safe suitable place can be found.

Pets are not disposable!!!!! We are living, breathing creatures, we feel pain, stress and anxiety just like you do.

Aunty Su will be having all her hair shaved off on Saturday to raise money for Border Collies In Need, we were worried she might have a cold head so we sent her a hat to keep her warm.

We think it really suits her!!!!

We are loving our new life here in South Wales, despite being more built up it's still very green and Dad managed to find us a fantastic forest walk where we can all run and play off our leads in safety. There don't seem to be as many of those sheep things here which means more freedom for us dogs so that's a plus point.

Mum is able to get some much deserved rest cause she's still not well. In fact it's lunch time and she still in her pj's - how cool is that!

Have you seen Tip??? He is the latest of the Border Collies In Need dogs and he's very handsome. Anyone who has him will be very lucky.

Everyone is busy raising money for Border Collies In Need we are donating our pocket money to sponsor Aunty Su but we would like to do something of our own, maybe a sponsored walk.

Aunty Su is shaving all her hair off to raise money for Border Collies In Need! How cool is that??? We think she's fab! Let's hope Poppy still recognises her Mum without any hair. Please sponsor her if you can we are donating our pocket money!

We are still missing Pops and Aunty Su, especially Bear who misses her playmate loads.

Mum got very emotional this morning when the postman brought the new paying in book and cheque book for Border Collies In Need, everyone is so excited about the new project to save us Collies.

We love our new home and garden!! It's fab and we get Mum all to ourselves which is a bonus too.

Auntie Su and Poppy have been staying with us to help unpack and get the place sorted so we are having great fun. Bear and Poppy have become glued at the hip. Dad's still working away and Mum really hasn't been well because of all the stress from Home-A-Dog and those nasty Trustees. We would like to go and bite them on the bum!!

Things are moving on with Border Collies In Need and we are excited about being able to help all those Collies.
